In a bizarre turn of events, Everton‘s goalkeeper, Tim Howard, gave the home side an unexpected lead with a routine ball clearance. Defender Sylvain Distin’s back pass formed an unlikely assist for the goal scorer, as Howard’s strike from Everton’s half took a nasty bounce outside the Bolton box before beating his opposite number Adam Bogdan. However, the captain’s effort failed to see through his side, as Bolton came from behind to score two goals. David N’gog provided the equalizer, and want-away defender Gary Cahill completed the comeback.now Everton are now 11 th in the Barclays premier league, whilst Bolton are still in the relegation zone.
