Huge Fireball Engulfs Pit Road At Richmond Crew Members Transported To Hospital

A spark mixed with a malfunction in the gas head ignited the fireball, Gaughan’s crew chief Shane Wilson told Fox Sports.

Gaughan’s rear wheel changer Anthony O’Brien and two other team members were transported to the hospital after being evaluated in the infield care center.

The trio will be replaced by backup team members. Gaughan is currently running in the 9th position.
