Ole Miss football coach Hugh Freeze took the main podium on Thursday at SEC Media Days, one day after Houston Nutt filed a lawsuit against the school, alleging it defamed him in its handling of a long-running NCAA investigation into the school’s football program.
Freeze gave an extremely long opening statement, seemingly to avoid questions about the lawsuit and the NCAA investigation.
At least, that’s what a lot of people on Twitter assumed.
